Users are able to delete their account. This is in line with requirements from Apple that state that any iOS app that allows a user to create an account, must also provide functionality for the user to delete the account. The Delete Account functionality is available in both the iOS and Android versions of the app, to ensure a consistent user experience.
Warning
Deleting an account will:

Permanently remove access to the app and associated privileges for the linked email address and respective username(s).

Permanently remove any contact numbers associated to the account.

Permanently remove access to any Teams that the user profile has been linked to. If the user re-registers, they will be treated as a new user and the Corporate Administrator would need to apply the appropriate settings to associate the user with any relevant Teams and allow them to receive or request cards.
The steps for the end user to delete their app account:

From Profile > Account, click Delete Account.

A warning screen explains what will happen if the account is deleted. The user can click the X in the top left-hand corner to go back to the Account screen without deleting their account. If they still wish to proceed, they can click Delete Account.

A pop-up provides a final check that they wish to delete their account. Clicking Cancel will take the user back to the warning screen without deleting the account. Clicking Delete will provide final confirmation that they wish to delete the account.

They will be prompted to enter their PIN, or biometric data if this is enabled.

After successfully providing their PIN or biometric data they will see confirmation that the account has been deleted.

They will be returned to the Login screen, and will not be able to log in with their account details unless they re-register for the app.
