When you use the receipt upload feature, the image of the receipt is sent to Visa Commercial Pay Reporting, allowing account administrators to view the receipt details in association to the purchase and card transaction data.
When viewing a virtual card, scroll down to the Transactions section. You can tap into an individual Transaction or tap the Receipts link. No, the Visa Commercial Pay App does not store any card details locally on your mobile device.
Visa Commercial Pay only displays the sensitive virtual card details during the virtual card’s activation period. The activation period is defined when the virtual card is created.
Just like any other payment card, it takes up to 4 days for the card transaction to appear on your account. Visa receives card transaction data daily from our banking partners.
Once the data is received, Visa will display the transaction record in the app.
Once you’ve created a virtual card and use the card for payment via a supplier’s website, the supplier’s website is likely to provide you with an order number or reference code. You can copy this reference from the supplier’s website into the Visa Commercial Pay App, allowing you to keep track of the payment against the supplier’s reference.
From the home screen, tap the menu button in the top-left corner and tap into the Summary section on the side-menu.
We receive card transaction data daily from our banking partners. As this data is received and linked to trips or cards associated to your profile, your analytics data is updated.
If you are viewing analytics in an alternate currency from the billing currency associated to the card transaction data, it may also be impacted by the latest exchange rate. Data is presented based on the current (todays) exchange rate.
If you feel the Visa Commercial Pay App has incorrectly categorised your transaction data, simply find the transaction associated to the card, tap the transaction and re-categorise as you feel necessary. The Summary tab will be updated with the new details.
You can navigate to the Profile screen within the Visa Commercial Pay App to set your preferred currency. This currency will then be selected by default when viewing the Summary view.
You can use the currency option in the top-right corner of the Summary screen to switch to the currency of your choice.
When your profile is unlinked from an account / Team by an administrator, you will no longer be able to view the cards associated to your account and therefore you cannot see the card transaction data either which will impact your Summary view.
The latest exchange rates are downloaded daily by Visa Commercial Pay.
