Mobile Application v5.2 introduces balance alerts and the removal of the PIN fallback when biometrics fails. Verification improvements will be implemented in v5.3.
We have added the ability for users to configure a balance alert that will alert them when their balance falls below a specified percentage. Users can set this within the app and Visa Commercial Pay Control v1.3, if supported by the issuer.
We are improving our KYC feature within the app so that new and existing issuers that support KYC will have more flexibility when requesting identity verification. This will be implemented in v5.3.
To improve app security, we have removed the device PIN fallback when biometrics fails or is not enabled. Users will need to have biometrics enabled or enter their email address, password and OTP to log in.
