Service Desk v2.2 introduces the ability for Issuers to send email notifications to selected audiences. Issuers can create audiences using Product, User access level, Customer, and Card Pool group parameters.
Notifications will be sent to the email addresses of users that meet the selected parameters and have also opted in for the notification type in the My Profile page of Visa Commercial Pay Online.
A new Customer notifications section has been created, which contains:
a table of historic notifications that have been sent using the functionality.
Add Audience functionality that allows you to create and name audiences.
the ability to create and send new notifications.
Issuers can send the following Customer notification types:
Product release notes
Scheduled maintenance updates
There is also the option to duplicate Customer notifications.
You will need to create a new audience before you are able to send notifications.
From Customer notifications, click Audiences.
Click Add audience and enter the following details:
User access level
Card Pool group
Once complete, click Add Audience.
Audiences that have been added are shown in the Audiences page, to view audience details click View. To deactivate an audience, toggle Active off.
From Customer Notifications, click Notifications.
Click Create new notification.
Enter the following notification details:
Title of the notification
You cannot select more than one notification type and will need to create a separate notification for each notification type.
Once complete, click Next.
Creating a Draft
Click Save to create a draft. Once you have created a draft it will appear in the list of notifications on the Notifications page. Click the ellipsis to view and edit or send, or to delete.
Select an audience, or select ALL to send the notification to all audiences and click Next.
You will see a preview of the notification. From this page you can edit or change the audience. Once done, click Send.
You will see an on-screen indicator to show that the notification has been sent successfully.
You can resend a notification by duplicating a notification you have previously sent, and then resending it.
